HGTV: Another Satisfied Client!

We recently received a letter from the homeowner of the HGTV Curb Appeal renovation:

“It will come as no surprise to you that I am writing to thank you for an amazing job on the recent work your company did for my house for an episode of HGTV’s “Curb Appeal The Block.”  The work was done under very challenging weather conditions and a production schedule that defied all logic for your team, I am sure. On top of that, your team had to negotiate an extremely complicated set of facts about my house (stream buffer, flood zone, and easement) that must have been a complete nightmare for you to even get started on the project. Nonetheless, everything was done at the highest levels of quality and professionalism.

As I have said time and again to my neighbors, because I work from home, I was able to personally observe the care and diligence your carpenters and crew members took in executing the design provided to you by the show.  I feel so fortunate that you all were chosen to put the design into place because I know that my family will be able to enjoy it for years to come and it will remain solidly in place and functional and beautiful. The carpenters were so diligent that frankly I feel like I could park my minivan on the front porch and it wouldn’t budge.

I especially want to say a word about your project manager, Lisa Manka. She was of course very personable and professional, and was a great ambassador for your company in her interactions with me and with the other folks working on this project. But she also had to wrangle all the personalities at the variance hearing we attended, and she still did an outstanding job presenting this project in a light that convinced the board to approve the variance. That was no easy task. I also watched as she pitched in at all phases and grunt levels of work that needed doing, making sure it was all completed and done right.”
